“Treason, Bribery, or other High Crimes and Misdemeanors.” That is the U.S. Constitution’s standard for impeaching federal officials and removing them from office. Alejandro Mayorkas crossed that line a long time ago. 

As Secretary of Homeland Security, Mayorkas is responsible for border security, immigration enforcement, and protecting American soil from foreign terrorists. For two-and-a-half years, he has ignored these responsibilities and endangered our nation.

Mayorkas has not simply overseen the worst border crisis in American history — he triggered it. He cultivated it. He practically celebrates it. Mayorkas likes that 1.7 million illegal immigrants entered America in 2021 and loves that the number spiked to 2.7 million last year!

Global terror networks love it too.

Under Donald Trump, it was almost impossible for terrorists to enter the country. U.S. Border Patrol encountered only 11 individuals on the FBI’s terror watch list during Trump’s entire four-year term in the White House. But in just two years of the Biden-Mayorkas open borders fiasco, almost 200 suspected terrorists have arrived!

On Mayorkas’s watch, the border has become a crime-ridden, humanitarian nightmare. Drug cartels are making billions in exploiting, abusing, and assaulting women and children. None of this has happened in a vacuum. It’s not a “tragedy” — it’s Biden and Mayorkas’s policy. 

The violence and crime. The human and drug trafficking. The lawlessness and addiction. Alejandro Mayorkas made it happen.

And he must be held accountable.

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green (R-TN) has been methodically investigating Mayorkas’s derelictions of duty. To his credit, he is not prosecuting this case on cable TV or Twitter. This is a serious inquiry, amassing the evidence necessary to remove Mayorkas from office.

Under Donald Trump, Democrats turned Congress’s impeachment powers into a partisan circus. Green is instead turning the Homeland Security Department’s circus of impeachable conduct into an opportunity to restore constitutional accountability.

The biggest political story in America this summer did not come from the White House, the Supreme Court, or the campaign trail.

It came from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) – most know it as the “nation’s report card.” Every few years, the NAEP tests American 4th, 8th, and 12th graders. And 2023’s results were the worst in the program’s history.

Even the Supreme Court got into the act this summer, banning liberal colleges’ criminal conspiracy to discriminate against applicants of certain races.

A whistleblower inside the IRS has come forward with evidence that Hunter Biden’s corruption racket included his father Joe — aka, “The Big Guy.”

Circumstantial evidence has long pointed to possible corruption in the Biden family, but the media has looked the other way. One of the newly leaked text messages, for instance, says “Ten held by H for the big guy.” Investigators were not allowed to ask who “H” and the “big guy” were — or why money was set aside for him. 

Moreover, insiders at DOJ repeatedly warned Biden’s attorney’s about the investigation’s findings and strategies to help them stay a step ahead.

The U.S. House of Representatives just passed a resolution overturning President Joe Biden’s latest attack against the Second Amendment.

The legislation, sponsored by House Freedom Caucus member Andrew Clyde (R-GA), is aimed at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms’ unconstitutional “pistol brace” rule. The rule would require owners of pistol braces to register with the federal government — an obvious first step toward the national gun registry Democrats have wanted for years.

There had been reports that Republican leaders tried to quash the vote to punish Clyde and other Freedom Caucus conservatives for opposing the debt-ceiling deal. But unlike in the past, establishment leaders don’t have that kind of power anymore. The vote was scheduled and 217 Republicans and two Democrats sent it to the Senate.

In this crucial debate, Andrew Clyde and the Freedom Caucus showed conservatives across the country how we can win in Washington. If we stand up for Americans’ rights and values, we can take on the Left and timid leaders in the GOP simultaneously — and they can’t stop us.

It’s often said that conservatives spend so much time focused on what we’re against that we forget what we’re for. And with the Left in charge of Washington, the media, our schools, and popular culture, that’s understandable.

Look what they do whenever people stand up to them. When parents protested at school board meetings? When teachers refuse to use students’ made-up pronouns? When political leaders like Donald Trump expose the truth behind the Left’s despotism?

The Left arrests them, prosecutes them and tries to imprison them. Just like all totalitarian dictators throughout history, all the way back to Herod and Pharaoh.

So, as the 2024 political campaign heats up, remember: this isn’t about just tax policy and welfare reform and school choice; it’s about the future of freedom. 

It’s about our right to speak, to pray, to vote in free and fair elections. It’s about parents’ authority over their kids and kids’ right not to be groomed and sexualized by psychotic libraries and school boards. It’s about girls’ right not to shower with men and the nation’s right to know and tell the truth about our glorious history.

Conservatives in the U.S. House of Representatives banked a victory over the Left, passing legislation to block Joe Biden’s illegal student-loan bailout.

The 218-203 vote was along party lines, and now the Congressional Review Act resolution will be taken up by the Senate. But even if it doesn’t pass there, it will be a win to get all 51 Democrat Senators on record about the issue.

The media tries to frame this debate as conservatives trying to take something away from young adults struggling to pay off their college loans. But that just shows how blinded by elitism the Left has become.

Joe Biden’s college loan bailout is not a helping hand to struggling victims — it’s a $400 billion handout to working professionals who went to college! Over the course of their careers, college graduates make $1.2 million more than everyone else. They are doctors, lawyers, financiers, and — more to the point — government bureaucrats!

More than half of Joe Biden’s White House staffers will be eligible for his student loan forgiveness program.

The people struggling in Joe Biden’s economy aren’t college-educated professionals — it’s the lower-income workers forced to compete with illegal immigrants. It’s factory workers with the sword of outsourcing hanging over their heads. It’s men drilling and digging for energy whose jobs are threatened by environmental extremists.

These are the same people, by the way, who will be paying for the student loan bailout. Biden’s program is nothing but a $400 billion transfer from plumbers, electricians, and waitresses to white-collar professionals and left-wing activists.

People who decided to forego overpriced colleges and woke campus brainwashing to start their careers in the trades are now being forced to subsidize the rich elites who chose to take on debt to attend prestigious schools.

It’s more than unjust. It’s immoral. Rich elites, without a vote in Congress, forcing working families to subsidize their privilege? It’s un-American and tyrannical.

But it’s also a glimpse of the Left’s true worldview. Woke elites don’t see themselves as public servants. They see us as their servants.

It has to stop. But the only way it will is if conservatives around the country rally to support the toughest, smartest, most principled congressional candidates to replace self-serving elites in BOTH parties.

It’s great that 218 House Republicans voted to end Joe Biden’s snob bailout… but it’s also embarrassing that it was only 218! We need dozens more conservatives in Congress: leaders prepared to fight for the freedom of working families and against the woke, elitist Establishment.

The debt deal negotiated by President Joe Biden and House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is a complete debacle. Every Republican should oppose it.

Here are the facts:

• The new “Swamp Debt Deal” does not cap the debt limit. Instead, it allows unlimited amounts of debt to pile up until a set expiration date, which will likely result in $4 trillion in new debt.

• It only cuts $12 billion in discretionary spending, which is nothing at all. Instead of shrinking government and living within our means, it keeps spending at the bloated 2023 spending level.

• It fails to claw back any of the $1.2 trillion in crony giveaways to elite leftists for grid-destroying unreliable energy.

• It keeps 98% of the IRS expansion.

• It fails to apply any work requirements for Medicaid and only makes age adjustments for TANF/SNAP.

• It fails to include the REINS Act statutory requirement for Congress to approve huge regulations.

• It fails to secure the border.

Border security and election integrity are not two distinct issues. They are two fronts in the woke, socialist Left’s larger campaign against the rule of law.

That’s the truth behind a new bill introduced in the House of Representatives by conservative U.S. Reps. Chip Roy (R-TX) and Matt Rosendale (R-MT).

The Protecting American Voters Act would give state election officials access to the information they need to prevent illegal immigrants from voting in their elections.

It would require federal agencies to hand over the naturalization and citizenship status of anyone on the state’s voter rolls.

This new bill will therefore enable conservatives to not only deter illegal voters from the ballot box. It will also enable state election boards to clean up their voter rolls before election day to shut down the Left’s ballot-harvesting schemes.

Coupled with grassroots efforts like the Election Integrity Network and the important state reforms put in place since the 2020 fiasco, this legislation would keep American elections free, fair, and transparent in the future.

The bill is not yet scheduled for committee or floor votes, but this is an issue that cannot wait. Republican leaders should relish the opportunity to put House Democrats on the record about whether they believe illegal immigrants should be voting in our elections.
